Jae Crowder arrived to Marquette after two season playing JUCO, including winning Player of the Year for the 2009-2010 season. Once Crowder arrived at Marquette he immediately became a starter and was counted on to do a little bit of everything to help the Golden Eagles.
On the defensive end is where Crowder stands out with an NBA body, strength, and great motor. Crowder is gets plenty of steals and blocks because of his length but is also a smart defender that anticipates well. While at Marquette Crowder has shown the versatility to effectively defend multiple positions be it on the wing or in the post.
On offense is a very efficient player, who takes care of the basketball and doesn't force his shot. Crowder has a nice face up game and scores plenty in the paint on put backs or easy looks. To make the transition to the NBA Crowder needs to show the ability to create his own shot. There is no doubt Crowder has made the jump to the next level and is a bona fide NBA draft prospect.
